If you do happen to put 'beaver tuff pull' into Google, you also come up with this
Words fail me.

I've delt with beaver B4 buying & testing lifting gear (I have a crane drivers & dogmans licence in my hat of tricks) , they (beaver) used to be called something else (name escapes me ATM)
they make pretty good stuff but I have had nothing to do with thier hand winches, you'll probably find it's aust made (all thier other stuff is)
they no longer sell direct and we now buy off a distributor

Looks like the same as my hand winch (TJM tuff pull). Mine's 10 years old and has been trouble-free and I have used it in anger a few times in that time.
I will say that you won't need that gym membership after using one because thay give you a hell of a workout
Still better than nothing and it has got me out when times I thought it would of been impossible without a hand winch. So yes they are worth having even if they are bloody hard work.
