    D3 a lemon?

Just saw a promo for either A Current Affair or Today Tonight (cannot really recall, nor do a care much), BUT they are doing a program; Is your car a lemon?

Pictured with what looked like a Ford Explorer and couple others was a brand new D3

Will be interesting to see how LRA respond to this one.....

LRA marketing would do well to understand that perceptions = reality, unless they do something to counter these perceptions.

I saw the D3 in the back of the footage as well. It will be interesting to see if it comes up and what they have to say tomorrow night.

LRA's reality is to ignore it and it will go away.

I will have to get stacey to tape it, i am playing squash. I will be interested to see what one sided tripe they come up with for all of the makes they feature. Matt

Yup - there was an old Jeep Grand Cherokee (ZJ) there too from the looks of it..... you think they'd be talking about new cars.

If the D3 is on that show, hopefully LRA won't only fix perceptions, they should fix the car. My D3 is without any doubt, the most unreliable and troublesome car I have ever owned or ever likely to own. In the 15 Months that I have owned it, it has already been back to the dealer with warranty issues over 20 times. Fortunately the Dealer has been good with aftersales service and has now rectified all warranty issues.
We bought a new Nissan Pulsar sedan around the same time and haven't had a single warranty issue in 2 Years.
Two other friends that we go travelling with regularly both bought Prados and have had absolutly no warranty issues at all in 18 Months.
Is the D3 a Lemon? If it's not, then based on my experience it certainly has a citrus flavour about it!

Everything was fixed before our trip to Broome and back. Luckily, everything went well on that trip. 12500km towing a camper in 4 weeks, cracked windscreen on the 2nd day out was the only problem.
Most problems were fixed before the trip. And some new ones after the trip, but the trip was fine.

anyone watch the ACA "lemon test".

a few disgruntled owners with different makes of cars that are "lemons". They did have a D3. Didn't go into very many details as to what problems it had. Quickly mentioned the engine was replaced? didn't say why.

It scored the worst out of all the cars on their lemon scale 6/10 lemons without detailing any of the problems.

anyway I don't usually watch that show and the journalistic integrity is not the best so who knows what the truth is.

somewhere in the middle i imagine.
