That's what I thought and had originally written - until I saw that article which said they were married. So I changed it.

Anyway, I saw a follow up article the other day with Bev Brock saying that he didn't beat her and that she never claimed that he did.

When he was married to Michelle Downes he lived next door to a friend of mine in Canterbury Place Brighton in Melbourne (off Beach Rd behind "Marios' Hotel")

They constantly fought, had the best parties (could he drink ) and she looked fantastic in a bikini.

One particular day Michelle came next door to Lyndsays' place because Brocky had been hitting her. He was an agressive individual, more so after losing an event.

Not to make light of a very serious matter, quite a few years ago now my then wife and I helped one of our friends and her children skip town as her husband was threatening to kill them all. she used to come around often with black eyes etc and we could never get her to do anything about it even went to the authorities myself but nothing happened. I finally sorted it out but this is not the place to go into the detail of what I did to him.
