Where did all the NSW dealers go?

Hi all, the only country dealers in NSW left are Port Macquarie and Dubbo, where did the others go and why? I don't count Wollongong and Newcastle as they are part of "NSW" and are city in my opinion!

Welcome to the new improved Land Rover Dealer network. At one stage my closest dealer was 2500km away! Apparently only city people want real 4wd's to park with their other elite European cars.

Of course the reality is that we have all bought Land Rovers for an entirely different reason - to use off-road

LR currently lists 39 dealers on the AU web site. Toyota in comparison lists 281...Do you think there is a reason they don't sell many new Land Rovers in regional Australia

Some Canadian bloke thought we didn't need them anymore, an excample of how stupid THE SYSTEM is Dubbo, Sydney, Newcastle, Port Macquarrie those 4 service 1/3 of NSW and from Dubbo country NSW the nearest LR dealer is Port Mac on the coast otherwise it's Sydney or Brisbane.

We do have a dealer in the ACT which also services South and East NSW but I wouldn't use them.

They haven't. The owner combined 2 premises into 1. LR is now at the Nissan etc site.

Gone so I was told, that is where my defender originally came from, after I purchased it I went there and they printed all the service sheets out for me to put in my log book. I bought it at a government auction in Newcastle.

I think you NSW's need to get out to the rest of the country a bit more. Us regionals in other states and territories have had this for the last 2 years.

Steps off ... awaits first throw from irate NSW types
