    I bought another landy that makes 4 ?

    oh well to late I've done it now
    I've bought another landy so that makes FOUR LRs at my house (do you think I have an addiction problem??? perhaps I need to seek professional help??)

    after 6 mths constant nagging from "she who must be obeyed" about having to drive the ute every day (some may be aware of my possibly silly decision to modify her RR that has caused it to be off the road for 7 mths instead of one month (and you can imagine the pain this is causing, not to mention we have a half finished house we can;t live in , why do I do this to myself??) and with the RR the light at the end of the tunnel is VERY dim)
    anyway
    I've gone and bought her a new car anyway it's a 2000 Td5 disco with all the fruit (7 seater, leather, woodgrain, 18" wheels (it's OK she doesn't 4wd dirt road are as off roads & the odd paddock as it'll go with her driving) the good 11 speaker sound ect ect)
    picked it up for $20k (i thought that was pretty good)
    it's done 250ks was dealer serviced whole life is immaculate (looking under its never even seen a dirt road) only oils leak is from transfer case (everything else is clean & dry )

    anyway once we get her RR back we'll be selling one of them (the RR or disco) but for now she's happy (very happy) and that'll make my life happier and take the pressure off getting the RR finished

    what do you think was $20k a good price? looking on car sales ect they all seem to be a lot more than that? (or similar price but base model with cloth ect)

    anyway I'm reasonably happy (apart from now i have another monthly load payment to make )

    Good choice,
    We have 3 dogs and 1 cat, and now i have commited to take my old work dog who has just been retired, will be 4 dogs, 1 cat, one hyundai getz, one disco and a batmobile under restoration,
    now trying to work out how to fit the mutts in the disco. should have opted for more cars it would be easier.

    Congrats, sounds like a reasonable buy, 20k seems a tad high, but having full dealer service history makes the vehicle worth that little bit more.

    I bought a couple of gas tanks for the County off a guy down the Mornington Penninsula a couple of weeks ago.
    HE HAS 22 RANGE ROVERS, plus a few Landies. I don't think he knew about this site either.
    And I left the camera at home..
