Car-go Metallic Seal Up is good stuff. I know a workshop that puts it in every engine with an aluminium head/block that they repair. Their reasoning is unethical. It seals up the engine for long enough to avoid comebacks if they stuff up the job.
My neighbour's 2002 Falcon was emptying the water header tank slowly about every 600k's. No sign of leaks around the engine so probably the long established Falcon curse of cylinder head corrosion between 5 & 6, ignored and denied by Ford. Flushed cleaned, Car-goed, and flushed again after leaving it in for a week, refilled with two cans of Castrol green inhibitor and nary a drop used since.

    Note para. 7.

I suspect that may be to depressurise the system so I may be OK. I may need to do it again.

Oh, I've sent an email to the Aust manufacturer and suggested they put these instruction on their website.
