    New Fridge For Me

I have just bought a Waeco 50L fridge

I paid $1000 with the insulated cover. How is that compared to prices in Sydney etc?

I just turned it on for the first time and set it at 4 degrees, but it has gone down to 1 degree according to it's digital thermometer. Is that normal? I am running it on 240V at the moment.

It's normal, the pre set temperature function only becomes stable when the fridge is loaded with contents. After which time it will power up for a few minutes every 30min or so....
I have the same model, very happy with it. Payed $1020.00 for the 50Ltr plus Insulated Cover and Mounting Kit.

Waecos I have had one for 3 or 4 years - I have found it great. Make sure it's tied down well and take care around the control panel bit ( no sharp tools, liquids etc ) should last for many years.
