Race to Dakar

Don't know if any of you have seen this but this is Charlie Boordman doing the Dakar on a BMW bike. Bloke who was in the Long way round
Very funny and very good. Gives a real insite to the Dakar and how mad and crazy it is.
Loads of Landies and bowler in it
I would recomend the DVD is really good

Really made me home sick as most of the people in it i know. He gets surport from a mate called Keth Banyard who is a god in the UK for his off roading . Won the British off road championships for 4 years in a row so then did the Europe one and won that 4 years in a row. So gave it up to race trucks in the Dakar. (all as a privatee) Now organise the trucks for the Bowler team. So loads of Bowlers in the film as they are serviced next to the bikes
And loads of Dessert warroirs too
So lots to prev at

Also Colin from Scorpion is on there as they got the BMW X5 surport car ready for the event. Nice to see him talking out of his ****, and see him squirm on tv . The bloke is still a T**t and everytime i spoke to him i want to still shove his springs up his back side

Thanks for that, I had seen it advertised but was not sure how good it would be, I've watched the Long Way Round a couple of times now and that is a Great DVD.

Might put Race to Dakar on the christmas wish list.

Like the mechanic who's girl friend did not want him to go. So he told her i have one chance to do the Dakar but there are plenty of girls who could be my girlfriend

Sounds good, i liked Charlie Boorman and Ewan McGregor in the Long Way Round that was a top show, if this Dakar one is half as good it will be worth it, i might have to watch in on thursday. Matt
