    4WD Monthly

Ok has anyone got january months copy yet
There is a Nissan o0n page 218 that has been done up with the words "Dave Davies might be alot of things but fence sitter he ain't. Tough Nissans are his Vehicle of choice"

But across front screen of the truck is a big Newcastle Land Rover Owners club sticker. And then two on the rear
Yeah looks like Nissan is his only car of choice

This is why some LR clubs are primarily that. The Brisbane LR club is a Land Rover only club (ie- no Pootrols) and the GCLRO has been through this. I will not go into details as I like to keep it confidential and not discussed on a public forum.

The Vic RR club from what I hear (know a couple fo people up here that were members) has more foreign 4WD's than Rangies these days.

Dobbo will correct me if I am wrong but I think this is the same for the Newcastle LROC.

You are right having a landy in that group means your a minority and a target for bagging, thats why I will not be renewing membership next year. Usual convo is the mighty Nissan v's the indesructable Toyo's.

A few Rangies, Fenders and D2's in it but mostly just Jap vehicles. I was really dissapointed when I got a bagging for owning a LR

Just walked out $90.00 less and thought bunch of tossers, they do have a few good members though

Nissans and Toyo's with a few Holdens as well, you are right, so my closest Land Rover club is LROC which like I said in the other thread would be a 3hr round trip and a day off work to attend a meeting. If it wasn't for this forum I'd have nowhere to turn to for tech advice or LR days out.
