I went to a meeting at the before mentioned club and as usual introduced myself and told them what vehicle I had, I hadnt even finished and the murmur was heard "great another ****ing one to tow out of the bush" they then wonder why membership is dropping.

Ha the run i went on with the before mentioned club was a joke i could have taken my gf's dunnydore anyway they had this brumby ute wif em and the brake caliper fell off the front left and it was a pain tryn to find sum bolts to put it back on atleast if it was a l/r and there was other l/r's in company you'd have ample bolts to choose from any way iv done a run wif em and prob wont again unless we group up and c if we can get an invite on one of there tough days just 4 a stir

Or you could say, "anywhere, anytime. Bring it on!!!!!!!! " like I do but I'm outspoken anyway and don't care.

Most people who make comments like that are idiots and not worth taking notice of.

The LROC Tas in the south has more 'foreigners' than LR's also, but we all get along well with friendly bagging at times. I have the only rangie in the club, and there is now a steady influx of defenders and the odd disco joining up, so all is getting closer to an 'even' keel. most of the toyota drivers and nissan drivers used to own landies, and stayed with the club after changing vehicles for the social scene, as all are good friends and don't care what the other drives now anyway. I enjoy seeing the mix of vehicles on trips, as there is always some tight spots to get in and out of, and some vehicles really suprised me at their capabilities. We haven't got any idiot mentalities in the club, as they would get tossed out pretty quick if that rubbish Trav and dobbo were telling us about ever happened.
Keep it polite and respectful, and have a laugh too I say, but some can't see it that way...
