Thread: Anyone for Xmas drinks in Adelaide?

If today goes well, maybe I will organise a bigger and better one next year with a bit more notice.

Might even have to invite Santa to next years.

Got there at 11.30... Not one person in a Landrover...

Went back at 12.00... Not one Landrover....

Let the lad play for a while and we left...

Went back at 1.00pm still no Landrovers...

So what happenned???????

Don't know Mike, I was re-directing people to the footy oval until about 11:30, had to leave then because the kids were fighting in the car. We must have just missed each other. We decided to go to the footy park because all the BBQ's were in use. Turned out someone bought their own BBQ, which was great. Everyone else that said they were coming turned up by 11:20. Sorry we missed you, but wasn't sure if you were definetely coming and by the sounds of it, we must have missed each other by a matter of minutes. Cheers Mate!

Turned out to be a great day for everyone. We all enjoyed ourselves, kids including adults. It was great to see everyone show up. It was good that people brought friends as well. Definetely have to do this again next year, might have to do it a few times a year. Thanks Darrell for bringing the BBQ, that was a life saver! I hope you join in on the forum as well. Cheers to everyone who came!

Well the day was great. The kids had a ball, I met some great people and the wife sat there and natted all day long.

I must remember next time that the sun and beer dont go down well

The wife still not takling to me. She says i stink of booze and i wont stop farting on her. The kids are happy, well i think they are. They reckon i embarrassed them when i reversed the DISCO into that pole. Even worse still they said i sat on Santa's knee and that he wasnt very happy. Who was Santa anyway?

Mmmmm,

Well I think you should replace my esky that you ran over, do you remember that? If you don't, ask your wife. She was trying to hide under the dashboard.You should see the tyre marks you left on the oval, thats why everyone was applauding you. As for santa, I was wondering who that was too. By the way, I have some photos of you on his lap. My kids are still talking about that guy who sat on santas lap.
