I had been waiting at the only set of traffic lights in Yass when a sedan began to reverse out from an angle park on the other side of the road. As I was on the other side of the road, I had no reason to assume I was in any danger. However the driver just kept coming and collected the back right hand corner of the SIII.
In the time it took me to undo my seat belt, the driver had calmly selected a forward gear and driven off as if nothing had happened.
I was so astonished that I didn't think to look at the rego of the other vehicle. In any case the damage to the Landrover was barely visible so I would not have pursued it anyway.
I did have the satisfaction of seeing a good sized dent in the boot of the car as it drove off.
Can't be a local if they got enough speed up to dent anything. Nobody goes over 20kmh on the main drag. They also like to enter the freeway doing 60.

    Talking

When will these seedamn drivers learn they are our crumple zone.

Keep up the good work chaps, one day we will be the only vehicles left on the roads, as it should be. No more road deaths if we all drive safe strong vehicles.

    regards shorty943.
