G'day all back from our N Y E party and beach run we all had a ball did sum easy sand drivin and give edd a few tips on sand drivin he had a few probs tryin to get big george up the hills but i worked out he had way to much air in the tyers and found that his tyer guage was giving false readings so i droped em all down to 14 psi and it was no longer a drama big george went every were grumpy did ..

As for the evening events many ales sum dead stuff on the barbie and sum good music we all sat round the fire and had a great time even got to see the fire works over newcastle was a great nite for it ..

Morning came with plenty of sore heads and hungry belly's chef dobbo sprung into action and got the barbies goin while i snoozed in the shade beside ol grumpy ..

Once we were all orginised we headed off to the lagoons for a dip to cool off and had sum fun on the dunes on the way the swim did us all a favor and we then split up sum went home and sum went back through lavis lane and back onto the beach were they came accross a few stuck cars on the track my self and the kids headed for camp ..

We all had a good rest in the shade of wortho's tarp for the arvo and packed up later in the arvo and came off the beach round 7 pm

    cheers

Lots of fun once you can get your rig going! Quite a worry when the 130 can't get up the first dune and also can't get back up onto the track. Also suffered my first flow battery. Needed a jump start of new years day to get going. It's also very ammusing to see a 130 driving sideways. as the sand just melts away from it.

This is usualy the problem for the first timers as they get worried about geting stuck or rolling a tyer off the rim all comes dwn to practice and knowing were to drive and the tyers are the biggest problem if not at right pressre
