Three weeks after ordering a replacement head from the UK and not having heard anything (credit card hadn't been charged), I contacted them to be told that the part had been superseded and the price had more than doubled to 1275 pounds.![]()
(I ordered a bare head, I suspect the new price is for a complete head).

I don't think it is really their fault, just frustrating for me.
I would have appreciated being told at the time that they didn't have it in stock, and of course it was hard to get hold of them over the Xmas break, but otherwise their customer service was pretty good.
So where do you go from here? Do you think you'll proceed at the higher price, or seek alternatives?
I just want my vehicle back so I will go with the local price which will be around $4.5k plus labour plus gaskets etc.Originally Posted by Jamo

I hope that's the end of it for you then, Frenchie! After spending that sort of cash, hopefully you'll get several years of trouble free motoring!
I would,nt inc put a sticky up about that unless you want to end up in the sin bin for goodOriginally Posted by Reads90
