    Janowen Hills 4x4 park

Went there with a couple of mates over the Xmas break. It is a nice property (MUCH nicer than Glenrow for those who remember it), and well worth a visit.

There are plenty of very challenging tracks for those who are that way inclined, often with pesky rocks. This one took quite a bit of effort to remove - hi-lift jacking and even rock breaking!!!

I used to go there a lot with our club but it has been about 1 year since my last trip.
The best thing about Janowen was that it was new and whenever we were there we were the only ones. Plus every time you went there were new tracks.

I remember there being some fairly big rocks strewn all over the tracks. However I never had a rock do that!

You did a hell of a job lodging that rock like that Ben.

The camping area is bettetr than Glenrow, the tracks aren't too bad either

Dunno what the tracks are like now, there was some newies there about 18 months ago but haven't been for a while now.

Good to see you got the 2A out of cobwebs again

Yeah, lots of new tracks there - Ones that Jason and Chris hadn't seen, and they were there fairly recently. There were probably only 20 vehicles there in total when we were there.

Andy - will have to post some pics in the members section in a few days.
    Specs are:
    1968 IIA ex-mil ute
2.25D with mods (beats 2.25P's up hills now!!!)
    Suffix B transfer gears
SIII Stage 1 front end and Salisbury rear
    Custom springs/suspension
All the bits you mentioned plus a York compressor (sliders are also air tanks), and lots of other goodies...

I am tossing up whether to bring it over to WA or leave it in Brisbane...
