As a young teen I retaliated by following a diplomatic car back to the embassy with my air horns on all the way. He wasn't very happy by the end. Worst I do these days is the finger or swear at them and use my spots.

    G'day Folks

Way back in my-- Eer, Motorcycling days there were a few ways to discourage idiots, you would remember the rego no, when you spotted it at a pub, pop the bonnet and pull acouple of plug leads run the lead pencil down the porcelin and replace the lead, sit back in another bar and watch as the mis-firing vehicle tried to drive off therewas also a special way to slow down NSW police XU1 Torana's but I won't go there

Yes I know turn the other cheek is the way to go but sometimes you just cant and its time for some harmless eye for an eye... (cutting brake lines while worth it for the look on their faces IS not the kind of thing Im talking here)

IVe got a couple but one of my faves was the letting the tyres down incident..

After getting cat and moused by someone who would pass me, slow down make me slow down get overtaken cause I didnt want to do 90 I wanted to do 100, repeat ad infanitum... I pulled into a servo, I thought he needed fuel too as he pulled in behind me and a truck eventually pulled in behind him,

while doing a driver reviver he let down one of my tyres and came in to abuse me and it was at that point that a truck pulled in behind him effectively blocking him. I think his intent was to come in abuse, gloat and roar away...

I went out, inflated the tyre while he torrented abuse at the rather unsmall truckie to reverse out so he could leave, I took the inflator back to the attendant (you had to put a $10 deposit on it because of the # that had been stolen) and handed him the 4 valve stems that Id removed from mr idiots tyres, he smirked at me. As I left I politely interupted the idiots one sided loosing battle with the truckie pointed out he now had a couple of flats and have a nice day.
Got run off the road by a moron one afternoon, recovered and caught up to the bar$t@rd, reached through the open, but rapidily closing drivers electric window and grabbed moron's tie. Tried to drag morons face through rapidly decreasing gap, managed to pull his ugly face hard up against now shut window, the knot on his tie was on my side of the window and he couldn't pull himself away from the window to reach the power window button on the centre console, so left him to stew in the middle lane of Parramatta Rd. peak hour, would have loved to have seen the face of whoever released him, vengance is necessary, Regards Frank.

    G'day Tank

Yeah ! Parramatta Rd did have it's moments in the 70's one of my riding friends got cut off by a Torana while several of us were riding home one arvo, so in true "Motorcyclist" fashion he rode up along side it and proceeded to kick the side panels only to realise that it was an unmarked Police Car the ensueing court appearance was $475 damages to a police vehicle and costs 3months loss of licence

    cheers

Many years ago I was sitting in the front seat of a mates 4x4 driving through Melbourne....

I'll point out here my mate is 6'6"

Some knob in a shiny new Jaguar ran straight out from a stop sign in front of us...... just missed him. Mate hit the horn and lights... all he got from the jag was the finger

Next red light..... mate gets out.... I see the electric windows on the jag closing....

Then Whack... my mate punched him through the sunroof!.. didn't think to close that did he

These days I'f be worried about kicking the doors or punching someone in, say, a WRX. They might just have a gun or knife if they are from around south-west Sydney and of, err, umm, Middle Eastern appearance.

I must admit I've been tempted to cut all the valve stems on some young blokes cars when they:

    • park in a disabled parking spot and run inside saying they'll only be a few minutes, or
    • park in the middle of two parking spaces (straddling the white line) so that no one will park near their car and scratch it. (If I didn't have a car with alloy panels, I'd park so close they couldn't open their doors - actually I have done that. )
I should keep a pair of sidecutters in the car....

    Love this thread!!!

Many years ago I had 2 lady friends in the car and one wolf whistled a driver as we passed him then she waved.

Next set of lights he ran up to my window, grabbed my throat and began extolling the virtues of "keeping my b|tches" under control (his words).

Considering he was chocking me at this point I was none to impressed.

I grabbed his arm with my right arm, threw the box into 1st with the left, hit redline and dropped the clutch!!!

The shock on his face as me, my car and this idiot took off across the intersection sideways was priceless

Let him go about 30 meters later...

Next set of lights we met again... As his door opened again reverse was selected and his bombodore nicely shoved back enough to help him get the point!

He left us alone from then on...

That was in late 80s... Much wiser now (I hope)

My solution here is to park on the drivers side of their car As close as I can, with the sidesteps on most cars mirrors dont come near the body work of big red.

If i cant do that I park at a jaunty angle with the edge of the bull bar in behind their car we do our shopping, come back and wait, naturally we dont buy anything that needs to be kept cold and setup on the seats waiting...

Doesnt happen often, most time we get paged over the intercom.. "would the owner of the red 4wd rego xyz123 please move their vehicle" I'll head back have an eyeball, note that Im inside my white lines, whats the problem and promptly grab the digital camera out of the rover and take a photo that shows their poor parking complete with # plates.

    They get a mite upset
