are they putting in little bridge ar pipes so that you do not drive through the water

i went for a drive last year and the water was about 400m deep on most crossings, it was fun watching a group of mountain bike riders ride through them

the gold coast boys or running a trip out that way in a couple of months

mainly they have been filling the crossings with small rocks/gravel /road base then covering with what looked like some sort of clay type soil, made for great mud splashes on the way back home )see pic in thread "where has ace gone"

By the way, when are you next out at Maroon??????

    G'day Fernoculated,

I've been out there - albiet a long time ago now (2 years plus). At the time they were a doggie friendly great little ex-property turned 4wd park. I really enjoyed it.

Dunno what their like now though I do know the LROC Brisbane is planning a trip out there sometime this year - curious to see how they have changed since I was last there.

At 400 metres deep they would have been swimming, not riding .

Brooklyn is the OLDEST/LONGEST RUNNING 4x4 park in QLD/NSW (and probably even in Australia). It is a very nice place and the owners are very friendly. There best time to go is winter as there are now flies - but it does get below zero most nights. Haven't been for a while but don't expect too much has changed.

    Levuka is good too.
