Did I just read that Captain Slow Maxes it out?

The man with the white teeth (Richard) nearly gave his job away with the jet car stunt.

So what does Jeromy drive that week, a Prius? His favourite car.

I think this is all a bit over rated. So its goes 250mph, big deal.

In the late sixties, the real LeMans cars were hauling down the Mulsanne Straight at around 240mph (and for 24 hours) - Ford, Porsche, Ferrari and others....

and that was forty years ago.

The interior in the new VW Bugatti is nice, but not else much has changed.

    Just 10mph quicker.

Saw one of BMW's Le Mans cars for sale in Adelaide a few years ago. The little square 2 door with the huge wing above the boot, nick named the "Batmobile?".
Early 70's, low, silver with pale blue and orange striping, wide, yummy.
All original, still had the Le Mans numbers on the dash, and was on California rego, $35,000. Some Le Mans classes are road legal.

    The Volkgati?

$4,000, if Cujo eats the indicator stalk, only 10? radiators to hole, costs 5mil to make and less than 1mil to buy, made by VW?. Uhm, and it looks like something from an old Dick Tracy cartoon, at least to me.
Can I sit on the fence for a while longer? Long enough. Very interesting, engineering wise, unique styling ( it does look good inside), fast, very fast.
I still like the TVR, brutal hotrod big six and no fancy pants stuff, sort of like the Landy (except for the brutal hotrod six bit).

    Shorty.
