Thanks for the feedback Mike. I can sympathise with the 12H shifts, hope they are all days and not day/nights.
Guys, I've just this morning began my new job...
Its 12 hour shifts and going to take a while to 'get into the swing of things' so my response time and web presence will be restricted for a week or 2.
If you've PM-ed my recently re a plumbing issue and I havent responded please dont be offended. I'm chasing that problem up as we speak but the UK are being very very slow to respond.
For the 2 guys I promised to send something to, they have left. And should be there by Wednesday (sent Saturday morning).
So all the best everyone, I'll be back soon....
Cheers

Yep, been there, done that, as well. 12 one day, 16 the next. Glad I'm too old and grumpy for that game anymore.
Shorty.
I've been doing 12 hr "shifts" for the last 10+ years
add to that it's a 1hr drive from home to work my
Normal day I leave home just B4 6am and get home a little after 8pm then have some tea, watch an hr TV (or do some work!) shower and have a sleep so i can do it again
yep and you've gotta love it when ya have a probelm and get stuck back late
have done waaay to many to remember midnight finishes
worse was got stck back till 3am once, went home quick shower 1 hr sleep and left to come back at 6am![]()
was sorry I wasted time driving home but I didn't have a change of clothes with me![]()
yep the joys of being self employed, everyone thinks you get it easy and make millions
it's no wonder untill my kids could walk they thought I was a stranger![]()

Mike, I just got off the phone to Robert & Martine and they hadn't heard anything about their ECU. The are at JustinC's place at the moment in hobart and were hoping for some news.

We just hope that after 31 days of silence, we will hear from Tomraider Mike soon. He has had our ECU for 54 days now, and we feel the least he could do should be to keep us updated...![]()
We are trying to turn this horror story into useful lessons for others to consider before risking a flashing job on their ECU. Check a new thread we are starting on this subject.
And keep our fingers crossed for us that this horror story will soon reach an appropriate end at last....
