Water hoses, anyone seen these before

When i was getting all the parts for the 90 (in the UK) for the trip around aus. The chap at the parts place said Oh you need a set of coolent hoses and you want the land rover geniune experdition set of hoses. Now i had never heard them . I told of few people about them and i am surprised how no one here has heard of them.
Now what makes them differant , is that they have joints at the y sections and other bits. So what this means is that if one of the hoses goes then you just go to a garage or shop and buy a bit of hose and connect it in the system . So you don't have hunt around for a complete land rover system. Smart eh . Or you could just carry two lengths of the differant size hose and replace when need .

As ou can see look normal

But you have connectors instead of the rubber joints Y bits, so they can come apart

    G'day Reads90

You haven't got, or can you get, a Part Number for those, that is the sort of thing that should be standard fitment on ALL Australian Vehicles if you can that is the type of thing that can be posted on FAQ or Tech Info

BTW those hose clips were standard types until the worn type Utilux made an appearance in the 60's BUT if over tightened will cut the hose as it ages

    cheers

    G'day Loanrangie

I wouldn't like to trust Poly fittings under pressure AND heat in an Automotive enviorement, those fittings look like they are metal, with seal lips.

    That's funny....

Just the other day I was looking at the bottom 300 TDi hose and thinking I should make up some of the fancy bends and junctions so I could use straight through hose in an emergency. Two days later and it appears LR thought of it first. Yeah, part numbers please.
