Thread: Mounting the spare tyre under the 130 tray

Hi all,

We are thinking about mounting our spare tyre under the tray of our 130. Just wondering if anyone else has done this or if there are any reasons that we shouldn't do it.

As for clearance, we've measured it up and it shouldn't be a problem. We were thinking about making a shelf (for lack of a better description) under the end of the tray above the tow ball.

Reasoning: Putting a roof top tent on roof racks, don't want it in the tray and I can't see to drive if it's on the bonnet.
