Yes i have had them on a previous vehicle, they work very well for carrying loads or trailers for leveling the car them out, and are very simple to use.

I bought a set of Firestone bags from Truckspring in the USA. All up cost was $175 including delivery which took under a week from the USA. I have not fitted them yet as I have very heavy rear springs due to the constant load. I had an idea that I might fit a pair of lighter springs I have and also the air bags but I have got lazy when it comes to working on the car these days. If you are handy with a spanner you could fit them yourself in an hour or two and save a heap of cash.

    Hi Mark
Ive got them on my Disco,VERY GOOD!!!!!!
Easy to DIY,almost idiot proof, very easy to follow instructions.
You will need a set of coil spring compressoers or similar, makes it easier to compress the spring.Yell out somebody in Perth may have a set you can borrow,I lent a set off the local mechanic.

I have bought the Firestone Coil-Rite 4121 helper springs from them. Only problem is they only list the 4121, which is for standard height suspension.

Compared to the +2" polyairs: the Firestone airbag is the same free length. The polyair kit has an extra rubber spacer to compensate for the suspension lift.

My conclusion is to make a spacer to fit inside the spring, if you have a spring lift.

I have not fitted the helper springs yet. The rear spring fitted to my disco when I bought it are too stiff. My intension is to fit the airbags when I get some new springs.

I would be happy to send side by side pics of the firestone 4121 and polyair +2" kits if you want them.
