    Rain

It actually rained! A storm yesterday with 6mm here, but nothing at my northern neighbours', and up to 21mm just south of here. Then today it rained most of the day, for a total of 13mm. And as I had to go into town to see my doctor, I got wet feet. I will have to see if I can find where it is coming in, been so long since driving in rain......

You had fire, we had mud. You have rain, and the wind gave my paddock to the neighbor. Why would anybody want to live in the city, eh?

    Cheers John

You make it sound so appealing to live out of town.
The best thing is no traffic and not a lot of people.

Live in the city? - you get to see the bright lights!

Traffic lights! Don't have em round here - well there are two or three over a few hundred miles, but only city people who visit know what they're for...

Rear fog lights when there's no fog - that's very city.

Daytime hi beam(ers) - that's very city too. Must have an inferiority complex.

    More rain John!!!!

Yeah it's raining here at the moment, I had to go out and cover a couch thats been out side for a month that freinds sit on to have their smokes.

When I say raining, I mean there is a little precipitation called spitting and for the last hour hasn't even wet the bottom of the rain guage.

Yeah let it rain so the Golfers can play golf......Seems pointless to me too.

Thought we might get some more today but passed over with hardly a drop, still, at the moment its fairly moist east of the ranges, but need a lot more over the catchments.

Taken from the bridge that got zapped last week (didn't spend long there)

    Dear Martin & Numpty's Missus,

We seem to be getting the 1/2 spit and dribble every evening for the past week or so. Good but still not enough. My Xmas trees seem to keep getting missed. If it don't rain up there soon I will be growing Cactus instead. Had the best crop of *****ly Pears for years up there.

Have you got a date in May yet to get together at Norm's? I bet it will rain that weekend.

You will need a bigger site soon to list all the Landy's. Poor Numpty will have to buy a new set of spanners by the time he is finished.

Well, after 0.5mm yesterday, we've just had the same again. But with an inch on Sunday-Monday, and the same a week earlier, we are looking a lot brighter than it has for years. And someone upstream has obviously had a lot more - there is close to two feet of water in the Talbragar.

Was still at work (pic was just after 4:00pm) cloud looked really good though, especially out over the coast where the radar indicated it dropped some very heavy rain - just where its needed.
