Hmmm... women might struggle a bit with a fender.![]()
I absolutely love driving mine anywhere, but I do concede the disco is a lot more comfy![]()
i don't think i'm allowed to go shopping for a car buy myself after buying the fender, two and a bit years on and megs still grumbles about it
at least i'm enjoying iteven if it is without megs
my 95 cost 14500, rough around the edges but well maintained
One of the blokes at work has just bought a neat '00 disco with 170,000K for $18,500, seven seater with ACE and seems like a pretty good unit.

Weighing up all this chat, and being newly married to a female, I'd maybe go a Rangie - a good mid nineties for less than ten and keep the other ten for maintenance, but if your patch is yuppie (modern), a 2000 - 1 - 2 maybe Disco, you'll easily get a V8 for the money you speak... resale however - who knows, get a gas LPG coversion - the govt will pay most for it.....
Disco 2 update is a real nice ride (and has CDL) and thankfully, depreciation is making them affordable......top end vers V8 of these were $80,000 + a few years back, now wholesaling at $25 - 30k...........

Hi James,
I would hesitate to buy a second hand Td5 older than 2003. Too many inherent problems that cost bucketloads to fix. Sure they may be lucky and get a good one, or ........ $$$$$
If they don't need the range for extended off road trips it may be worth thinking about a V8 on gas. You get a lot more for your money.
