An engineer from Solihull goes to Mitsubishi in Japan on an exchage visit. He visits their factory and while in the engineering dept. sees that they have a cat in a small cage on the desk. He asks what they have it for. One of the engineers tells him that when development of the new Pajero chassis is complete, they lock the cat inside the vehicle overnight. If the cat is dead when they return in the morning then they know their shutlines are up to their high standards.

The LR engineer thinks this is a great idea, and when he returns to England he gets a cat and locks it in a Defender overnight. When he returns in the morning the cat is gone!

so where did the cat go in the free Brand new Defender, bush I hope. I feel for the cat in the Pajero, poor bloody thing dying of boredom.
