    Disco towed away

My 2004 decided not to start today, battery a bit flat called landrover support,RACQ turned up on time, confirmed battery cell had died at this time the alarm was going crazy, immobiliser doing a great job would not even start with power leads, nothing the RACQ could do they dont carry the type of battery for Disco's, to fix the Disco they called for a flat top and it was towed away, fantastic that it is still under warranty and the battery is covered, well done Landrover, look forward to seeing you soon.

Good service all round doesn't stop it being a bit rough to have it trucked away just because the battery died.

I suspect the immobiliser wasn't playing ball due to the battery problem & that would be why it required a tow.

Quite often the roadside assist guys don't have the correct battery in their breakdown van & fit a substitute battery to get the car going again. They then give instructions for the owner to get the correct battery fitted at a dealer under warranty.
