Thread: Cant Wait Till next Friday 30th March

Because we are Offffffff to Fraser Island and cant wait!
Its been 12 months since we were last there in our Landcruiser
and Im very interested to see how well the Discovery goes. I must admit I have had this car 8 months now and never been off road in it yet so it will be good to test it out.
A friend of mine was up there last week and says that Hook Point is still open but has a lot of timber on it and he had to wait till the tide was way out to pass safely. He also mentioned that he went down the notorious inland track and it was as bad as ever.
Apparently some of the access tracks from the inland track to the beach have been closed south of Dilli Village.
We are staying at Frasers at Cathedral. It will be our first time there so it will be good to check it out. We choose this place because it has its own petrol station and after last years adventure with our petrol drinking cruiser we thought we would play safe.
So if anyone is up there and see's a gold disco zooming around that will probably be me and the tribe. Cya
