Thread: 2007 Defender Press Launch

Well I am here in cold, miserable England waiting for news of my chance to have a good stickybeak at the new 2007 Defender. As you are all now no doubt aware, the scheduled release date is April 16 but the press lauch is currently underway at Eastnor Castle.

LR Press office say they have all available vehicles there until April 5th being thrashed around the test track by various invited media. I am doing my level best to score an informal invite but don't hold your breath. One of the chaps there is going to ring me if an opportunity pops up.

On Thursday I will be doing the "Home of the Legend" gold tour of the factory and test drive at Solihull. So far I have been told I will "see" new Defenders at the plant, but they cannot confirm whether or not I will be able to "touch" them. Rest assured if that happens you will all know - in detail.
