You mean you bought BOTH! How much, if you don't mind?

Did you find anything else interesting among the grass?

I've been watching the lwb for ages, gradually get taken over by nature - looks like the time was right, eh?

    Well done, Fen.

I'll keep my eyes open for any others, stay tuned.

    $400!

Nothing in the grass, I was expecting a joe blake or two. It was cold and raining, which was good - as long as they weren't curled up in the cab, or somewhere!!!
Although there are a number of spares and some rusted out cart springs for the ute, which are slightly less rusted out than the ones on it!!!

I while ago in a paddock closer to the Pacific Highway (on Ross Lane) was an WW2 era army truck - restored and for sale - maybe a Studebaker M5, double bogey, just like what was used the tv series MASH. Haven't seen it for a while tho'.....

I wanted it immediately, but somehow got talked out of that idea, wonder why?

Let me know when you're going to collect them Feenie...

I couldn't think straight when I got there, it was raining, I said to the good wife - what is this strange wet substance falling from the sky? and why is everything so green?
It was nice jsut standing out there in the rain

It does that down this way, Fen

It's called rain, a good way to check on the new 'series' you've acquired, to see if there's any seal problems

Nice spot, that place, eh? To this day, I'm still amazed they didn't disappear a while ago.......

My kids want something like the lwb as a cubby house!

I'd just get them to fix it!

Sorry I missed you yesterday.... Kyogle was soooooo much fun...

When you come by and collect, I may do the recovery as a 'good news' type story for my local paper, then you'll be really famous

Pump up the tyres on the ute and you could probably drive it home

    after the undergrowth has gone...

as an aside, there was a 62 model lwb advertised in the Northern Star, slightly north of Lismore, been sitting in a shed for about 5 years and was going when parked - a deceased estate - $200 and gone in a flash!

wonder how may more are hiding around here?

which leads me to an idea: I'll put a general ad in my paper: got a Land Rover gathering dust? give it to a new home, etc......

be interesting to see what pops up

I know of two late 80s classic rangies gathering 'nature' but the owner is...... well......
