Lotsa fun! Should be more of it! My pics will be up soon, when I figure out how to post them at a reasonable size.

Trust you got home okay, Fen.

And there is still one more Landy at this location, the swb trayback, as per the pic at the start of this thread.

Personally I'm glad to see these old Landys go to a decent home, rather than rot a way on a paddock... but I'm also glad I'm not into restoring such things - geez they're basic....

Do we have a 'column' here for rescued/recovered Land Rovers?

Would make for an interesting 'register' of such....

See you soon, Fen, good luck with them.

JohnE: I think I was a bit too soon on the dodgy leg, couldn't get the boot off when I got home, ouch!!!!

    Cheers, GQ

Funny guy, John. You are of course assuming the size 10 boot has been removed

I'll do the photobucket number soon, maybe after I get back from Byron, have to collect a survivor...

    Update......

It just about was a daily Mrs Numpty. It ran out of rego Apr 06. had been stored since then in the paddock.
Has been round the block at home with the children in a few times.
Found a leak in the brake line at the LH front side. Will be going over all the brakes prob next weekend.
One minor rust hole in the pass. side firewall about the size of a 20c piece.
LH front chassis rail has a bit of a nasty rust hole, otherwise I don't think there will too much to get this old girl rego'd. Need to check a few bits and pieces and give the engine a thorough inspection though, but for now it runs remarkably smooth.
Have pulled the roof and back cab off, and removed seats. Tidied up the floor and seat boxes, etc.
Will be pulling out the dash and that disgusting holden steering wheel next after the brakes.

    I'll post some picks soon.
Would've posted sooner - but was about to check the Landy manual and had the laptop downstairs on the work bench...plugged it in and smoke came out the side
Needless to say the Landy is in better shape than the laptop.
It was a few years old and starting to play up - but i could've done without frying it!!
Still, you can't win em all - and I think I'm ahead lately

    Good work,
now everyone take note photo one is a good example of a landrover working bee, everyone gainfully employed.
So quiggers those boots are a size 10 no good my feet aren't that small. But thanks for the offer.

Oh by the way Matt that hole in the passenger side firewall right where the crease is, is actually the size of my index finger, I pushed it through when i was fiddling , sorry about that, the rust didn't look that loose. should have covered it with some tape so you wouldn't notice.
