I think that you will find that is bollocks and definately illegal. Working in finance what peoples finances are, debts, owing etc is covered under the privacy act laws. It is also highly unlikely that a lender/bank/institution is going to supply that sort of info to a website,

You can tell IF they have a mortgage on it, but not whether there is any debt associated or indeed how much that debt might be.

I work in finance and it is indeed absolute bollocks - so Ditto and double ditto, what Stevo said is right.

You can tell IF they have a mortgage on it, but not whether there is any debt associated or indeed how much that debt might be.

Normally if you have a mortgage there is an immediate debt association
