Duck Creek run on the 15th of April ( FINALLY )

Hi folks, this is just an advance notice of a run on the 15th of April, up to Duck Creek for a BBQ and some demos of things like Snatch recoveries and basic driving skills.

The drive is open to any landy owners in the SEQ area and GCLRO members and will not require any special gear other that a road worthy vehicle and a first aid kit.

A CB is preferred but not mandatory so if you don’t have one and can’t borrow one, so be it.

All persons attending MUST HAVE SUITABLE FOOT WARE - NO EXCEPTIONS.

Duck Creek Road is accessible by any vehicle when dry and 4x4s only if wet, so this trip is on, rain or no rain and does not require the driver to have any off road experience and is the main reason for this drive, to give inexperienced drivers a chance to take the 4x4s SAFELY off road.

But for those a bit more adventurous, there will be some side tracks to have a play on or you can just sit back and watch others demonstrate their skills ( show off )

The BBQ area has gas fired BBQs available for free and there is plenty of safe open spaces for the little landies to play.

More details will follow, probably on Monday.

Cheers and anybody wishing to come along, please post here so we can get an idea of numbers and there is no number limit.
