    Re: the half empty glass

You know how time fly's the older you get, especially when your having fun !
I woke up this morning and realised that in about thirteen and a half years I'll be eighty years old. My gawd. Theres not enough time left to do stuff,
    its just around the corner.
Then I got to thinking that in thirty three years I'll still only be a hundred !
Thats a heap of time, eh. Long way away. More than enough time to fit it
    all in.
I reckon my glass is more than half full, hope yours is too.
    Cheers.

Interesting way of looking at things, I too was only thinking the other day that I have 17 years to go if I want to retire at 60 (55 would be nice) and then thought thats not far of but then thought I have only been working for 27 years and that seems like ages. And even if I retired at 60 it would still give me 15-20 years of good health and ability to get around this great country and spend my childrens inheritance

Has anyone else noticed that it's not _just_ us older folk who are complaining about how fast time flies these days? Even my 18 year-old mentioned it the other day. Maybe time's speeding up after all .........

    Cheers,

I'm 60 next January. I might retire next year while I am still able to get around and do stuff.

Oddly enough, I don't feel any older than I did when I was in my early 40s. I still look at the girls and wish.......
