    Yes, the current Teracan is an evolution of the live rear axle Pajero design, licensed from Mitsubishi.

    It's not so unusual is it? The Santana PS10/ Anibal is a Series III Land Rover evolved over 20 years and about three versions. Arguably a better vehicle than a Defender (I did say arguably!) with no seat box (so has elbow room) and leaf spring 109inch chassis.
