I picked up a Ryco Z436ST and went home.
Time to remove the original filter but first I thought I'd check the one I bought. I just opened it up but didn't remove the filter. Odd, the new Ryco RST202 cup removal tool doesn't fit even though its packet specifically mentions the Z436.
So I pulled the filter from the box. Some mongrel had nicked the Z436ST and replaced it with a much cheaper SuperCrap brand filter. Bugger. Back to SC where I was told swapping items in boxes happens a lot.
They replaced it. :)

On the other hand, years ago I bought a pile of threaded plumbing fittings from Bunnings. For convenience I screwed the whole lot together and when I was checking out I was distracted by a (mine) rowdy 3 year old. I got to the car and checked the receipt and she'd only scanned the first bar code leaving me with about $30 in "freebies". I headed back inside with 3 year old in tow and was politely told "Don't worry about it, not worth our time".
Only last week I bought, amongst much other paraphernalia, 2 x 25 stapled blister packs of ¼" nuts, bolts and washers, from Hbarn. Went to use them on the weekend to find four bolts short from one pack. Thanks to an on the fly variation, I only needed 36 instead of the planned 48. Thank goodness for triangulation.
Bunnings also have the issue,seems some don't like their worn out thongs.they prefer a new pair of work boots.Quote:

I've done that a few times, walk in with old boots on and walk out wearing the new boots.
They NEVER look in the box when checking out.
