Only last week I bought, amongst much other paraphernalia, 2 x 25 stapled blister packs of ΒΌ" nuts, bolts and washers, from Hbarn. Went to use them on the weekend to find four bolts short from one pack. Thanks to an on the fly variation, I only needed 36 instead of the planned 48. Thank goodness for triangulation.
My favourite shop in the world is the bolt shop. Where a person will spend half an hour looking for a tiny bag of nuts/bolts/washers for you and charge you $3.2. Mean while that tiny bag of hardware would be $28 at hammerbarn once you'd find them. The blister pack tax.

My "local" bolt shop is 40km away and considerably more expensive than the big green shed.
The bliter pack tax is more than compensated by the who uses imperial discount.
