    All White D3

    Hey All,

Saw this the other day driving down the highway, was trying to work out what was different...........oh its all white. Havent seen a completely colour coded D3 before and would say the likely hood of this one seeing some offroad action would be unlikely. It also had "Sport" decals on it, so Im assuming a later model than mine as that wasnt available then,

    Regards

    Stevo

Serious offroading going on there, Stevo

I saw about a 2000 model commodore in Lennox Head on Saturday marked as a Vauxhall and it wasn't a Monaro......

    Stevo,

I think the "Sport" was on the Billboard, and that's not a D3 it's a Renault Commercial Van isn't it?

First time I've looked closely at the tailgate on a D3. The asymetry is opposite to my D1. LHD setup? for the US market no doubt......

No not a Renault , was definately a D3 TDV6 S model, was going to get pics of front, but already felt like a stalker with the missus zipping through traffic in the XR6 ( she aint allowed to drive D3 anymore ). Also dont forget Quiggers the tailgate is split folding, with main part of glass on drivers side,

    Regards

Yeah, geez stevo, I knew that too! I reckon its one of those US jobbies from the Alice Springs CIA mob......

D3s have tailgates with the window reverse asymetry to D1 and D2 which have a large door

Doesn't matter! love the D3! I might just get one, one day...... when I find a D3 with a few bumps and scratches and stuff..... would suit my offroad life perfectly!

Yeah, well, Pedro, I'd go a D2 maybe, I was impressed with Fenians kit when I saw it on Saturday last, (love those Maxxis chunky tyres) personally, the loctite bolt issue and the ongoing saga of oil in the harness, and glazing and the lack of a cdl, mean i can see a D2 for the right price and then fix it..... or just get a D3.

having a cdl helps lots where i go and it has been put to good use; i'd also like an lsd in the after diff

d3 to me, makes a lot of sense as it much bigger and means i wont ever have to buy a voyager, tarago, or carnival - i also carry kids

the house lineup is being reviewed, a d3 for me and a focus for swmbo
