    i have a point in this evolvng discourse, white poms dropped hordes of convicts on this land and claimed and settled etc...and abused the locals...

    so, if it wasn't the poms, i wonder how the indigenous would've fared under the rule of frogs, ruskies and/or nips.....

    Yes that's so, I didnt mean to imply that I agree that might is right, just that with humans (and animals for that matter) it usualy is.

    I believe that the locals would have lived under the rules and attitudes that prevailed in the world at the time, and no nation has a good record on that score. The locals were equally persecuting their own locals,(to a degree of course). just as humans have done globally since we evolved . hence the might is right comment.

    any way, as someone has said, enough of that.

    hope every one has a good Anzac day, and gets off road!

    No one remembers the good people do only the bad let us not forget the Fallen Men and Woman that didnt return Home and cast a thought in silence for the Heroes of this Country we so proudly call Home And remember the ultimate sacrifice these people made for us so we can live in a country that has endless opertunities and you can be whatever you want to be .
