Unhappy Crusty Demons Truck goes up in smoke with bikes on board - NOW WITH PICS

At about midnight last night apporox 20km from Kalgoorlie a double road train carrying matting and motor bikes for the Crusty Demons 2007 show caught fire. FESA attended and requested back up from KNSC (former employer) and Harmony Gold. Both trailers were basically burnt to the ground. Do not know how this will effect planned shows but I would be checking if I was a ticket holder.
Should be some vision of the incident on GWN news tonight and possiblly 7.

Bummer. For them what likes that kind of thing. Youngun's and such. They do some stuff, them young blokes. Too far of the ground and no wings, for me.

I prefer the more sedate, observed trials these days. Still hurts when you fall down, just not fast.

    Shorty.

Either that lot have some bad luck, or they like new bikes. they had a truck crash and burn when they were in tassie, although the driver died in that instance.

    Now with pics

    Pics added to original message.
Not good. A friend in Esperance brought back some of the bikes so is not a total loss.
Coffin Cheater who organised may have a big bill?? Hope they are insured.

Was still smouldering when I drove past on the way to work at about 7:00am this morning. Didn't look like there was much that could be salvaged from any of it.
    Cheers .........

What's the big deal? They were only going to torch the bikes at the end of the show anyhow. Some mates of mine went to see them a few years back and they were disgusted at the amount of stuff they wrecked.
