Well he wasn't famous, but i'd have to say my old man.
we weren't that close, but if i could go back i'd make more of an effort, as i do with my son now (how soppy)
Got this idea after reading shortys little dinner party experience.
Everyone has a wish list of famous people they would like to meet.
How about we expand it.
Who in your mind stands out so much you would have loved to meet them, that includes people long gone. and why would you want to meet them.
I would have loved to have met, the Spaniard Cortez, who explored and conquered the aztec empire, I would like to know why he did it and what was his motivation in those days, great riches or dominance.
your turn now.

Todays sydney telegraph has an article on the number of shots fired in sydney over the past week or so, i guess they must be the silly souls that neve bothered geting anything registered.

The thing that really pi22ed me off was that when they banned Semi-Auto's only the honest people would give them up NOT the Crooks and Criminals. Also if (Very Very unlikely but still) another country was to invade Australia having an Armed population would be a great help. like America has. Who would want to break into your House/Rob you if you have a gun or might be carrying one ??
John (i think thats his first name?) Stuart. The explorer that was the first one to travelled from South to North on our big brown land. (Hence the Stuart highway). And the not so famous bushranger Captain Midnight. Apparently a family relation, my mother has showed me in her family tree book.
Cheers geck
