This has nothing to do with land rovers, but I thought I would share this with you. I felt sick after watching this crap.

Cynical journalist here:
Mickey Mouse, a symbol of American Imperialism, being caricatured, to fight the 'infidels'? One would think they would've come up with something original... like maybe a caricature of Yassar Arafat instead of the original symbol of 'fun in the USA'.
However, freedom of speech obviously exists in oppression, provided you're positive towards the negative.
There was a curious line in the commentary (supered in English) about 'forests'. There's no forests in that part of the world - so do pre pubescent kids understand 'metaphor' or were those in front of the cameras going from the 'script'.
I spose they need some form of antidote to being bombarded (no pun intended) by The Simpsons.
There are many extreme causes in this world and some exist in this fair land - and as such, our kids are bombarded by all sorts of messages, which may be deleterious, just like the viewers of this piece have been subjected to.. in the broadcast area... those behind the cameras in this piece have already, (adults) are only trying to manipulate, or further cement the minds of what some may already hear at home.
I'm not a supporter of this broadcast, btw, or of any which tries to manipulate children, (or even adults for that matter), but then we get into the issue of 'advertising'.................
Sheik Hilaly of Lakemba seems to stir up his lot (and the govt) fairly often... as does the PM and the guy who wants to be the next PM.... the eternal debate...
Reminds me of those crazy quotes from days gone by, like:
"We want peace we'll kill anyone who doesn't agree with us" etc.....
and to answer the q crump, it's being going on for millenia only god or allah or who or whoever will sort out this mess, i personally think it's a bit of a god (allah) joke in that form of humanity - if it is the hallowed land why is it a desert?

this subject is of ongoing fascination to me, the 'middle east'
it gets sooo much publicity, which i think helps fuel the problem.
I sometimes wonder if the 'ignore it and it will go away' approach may not be a better alternative....... get all our people out of there and let them sort it out, intervention by others has not worked for a 'peaceful' solution...

take away the nukes put a big fence round em all and shoot anything that comes over the fence.
Personally l like the Rowan Atkinson Devils welcome to Hell address.
The Middle East and the Kingdom of God been a problem for over 3000 thousand years just goes to show you that the promise of God is about as worthwhile and bankable as the word of a dealer stealer on warranty work on your vehicle.
We can't ignore them and let them fight it out to the kill off whoever they are opposed to as it might affect the avaiability of petrol for the Rangie.
Prefer we didn't allow either the Jews or the Arabs or anyone else from a place where they regularly kill their fellow inhabitants becasue they don't like the God they pray to, the colour of their robes or any of the nonense reasons they kill one another for.
