Is Vlad in Melbourne? Not for long

A RARE Aston Martin DB4 GT sports car, similar to one used in James Bond movies, has been stolen from outside a Melbourne house.
The car, believed to be the only one of its kind in Australia, was parked on Whitehorse Road at Surrey Hills, in Melbourne's east, when it was taken last night.
The car, silvery-green in colour, was worth between $250,000 and $300,000, a police spokeswoman said.
The DB4 GT model made its public debut at the London Motor Show in 1959.
A prototype was driven that year by motor racing legend Stirling Moss in the International Trophy meeting at Silverstone.
In author Ian Fleming's 1959 novel Goldfinger, secret service agent James Bond got an Aston Martin after his vintage Bentley was destroyed.
But movie producers decided on the then current DB5 model when they began production for the film in 1963.

Hey Vlad, why does it have sooooo many spark plugs for a six?

Reliability issue there? Or another design by committee?

    6 plugs = 100mph, therefore 12 plugs = 200 mph

Ahh, silly me, a trick 2 stroke motor, burns on both strokes....................

It's British so they are probably Lucas plugs and you need 2 to make 1 spark

    No actually....

Aston would probably say that its to ensure a reliable, consistent ignition and therefore full combustion for maxium effiiciency.

In truth its so horribly complex to change the spark plugs that this way you have to do it less often.
