    Where Are You From Map??

On another site Ive seen a members map. Its where you email the admin and let them know where you are from and put you onto a map with a little icon.

In the past Ive found this very handy when you find something of interest on ebay or tradingpost but you are nowhere near it, you can ask someone near by if they would like to have a look for you etc.

Just an idea, I have no idea if its possible or not on this site, but a neat idea I think.

In the past Ive asked members to help us out, and I want to return the favour if sombody finds an item out this way.

    Any feedback, possible or not?

i looked at it, it is a big mod and the security was crap...

not a headache i was interested in inflicting on myself at the time.

i will have a look and see if it has improved but i have two other major new updates to implement at the moment.

much rather use the available horsepower for day to day functionality over pretties that make life harder at upgrade and maintenance time, which is a lot of the time :P

    Hey Inc

Just a thought. How hard would it be to add member location to Google Earth by Lat Long as a sort of group? I don't know if the functionality exists but I'd be very surprised if we can't do something along these lines. I'd be happy to admin it once I get to townsville.

Might provide some functionality along the lines that Andrew was suggesting w/out compromising system security.

    Cheers,
