    Deacon Automotive D2V8 LPG Conversions

    Gday All,
Does anyone have a deacon auto LPG injection setup on there truck? i am after some pics of the way they have setup the injectors as i have been told they get great power and economy from there setup. Being in Melbourne and Me in Newcastle its to far for me to get them to do my conversion but i am hoping to find someone who can set up something similar for me.'

    Thanks,

    Mick

I had a look at this when in Melbourne a couple of weeks back, they showed me the setup on a P38A, very impressive, switched from gas to petrol at idle without noticing any fluctuation, claiming 16L / 100Km, and the same or greater power on gas compared to petrol.
Bad news is $5000 to $7000 depending on installation and tank location!
    Cheers
    David.

Only one place in newy i found will do the d2 on gas injection is sprint gas at Warners bay, good price though at 3900 for a OMVL dream system. but with a 6-9month waiting list

At the moment it seems i will be heading to bruce davis in sydney, just working out prices and tank setups with him, hopefully i can get some info about the deacon setups and pass it along to bruce davis, apparently the trick is using shorter hoses from the solenoid to the injector i've heard.
