As a non-Brit, it seems to me that Britain has been the loser in the joining of the EEC.

Unfortunately, no more stupid than most of the other crap coming from the overpaid (and largely unelected) morons in Brussels which the UK nanny state politicians rush to implement.

Boy, I am so glad I left....it gets worse.

Yeah, but just North to where I lived there was quite a lot of cattle and sheep roaming "free" in moorland areas (And sheep have zero traffic sense!) plus deer all over the place in other regions.

Got a chuckle once when I told her we hit a roo. She wanted to know if we had to report roo hits. Can you imagine the paperwork if we did??

Hang on...I could handle a job like that...filing roo hits...umemployment would hit an all time low
I could be wrong but I think that sort of relates to poaching, (not boiling eggs) shooting/trapping game. Venison isn't cheap and I suppose it would be easy for someone to say "Honest Gov" I hit it with the bull bar hence no vehicle damage, thats the real reason I have a Deer in the back

I don't know if it's true but I was told that if you hit a deer in the UK you must leave it where it is.

Some of you other country pommes might be able to put me right?

Get quite a few deer hits around here - not sure what they do with the carcases though.
