The [anagram Torchwood] was used as the "codename" for the new series of Doctor Who while filming its first few episodes and on the 'rushes' tapes to ensure they were not intercepted; then was used in the series before becoming a spin-off.

It's also interesting that the Torchwood base is at Roald Dahl Plaza in Cardiff and that they use an invisible elevator - surely there is a link to Roald Dahl's "Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator" there!

I wonder if we are going to see a giant peach, or chocolate factory in future episodes?
