I've used them when in the UK, and they're great when you drive there and pick stuff up (Almost everything in stock!) but have tried to email them a couple of times since moving here, and not found them very responsive. They'd probably be better if you phoned with an order and asked delivery charges. Postage is likly to be a killer though, as there is only airmail now unless you're ordering enough to buy space on a ship.

I've used both Paddock Spares and Simmonites via import and found both to be good - but Simmonites were better.

On the rare occasion when a part was damaged or lost in the [long] trip, they just reissue no quibbles. email sharon@simmonites.com. The only crap wthing with them is their website - find what you want on Paddocks, then email Sharon with your request.

Normally I have not been charged import duties but on one large orrder I was - it's all at the discretion of customs. Freight has generally worked out at between $75-200 depending on the size of the order, so I usually batch it up and push for a discount.

I have usd them a lot, and ordered both small and large things. biggest was a Power steering pump and saved $150.
I have always found them good to deal with, except for the most recent possible order.
Recently inquired about a water pump and the postage would have been $85, negating most of the savings.
Also there are 2 water pump numbers in their catalogue and it took them literally a month and 2 or 3 follow ups to get a response as to which was the correct one.
So I think British Mail has recently increased prices and this will affect whether it is worthwhile.

Well, next time you're doing a big order, if you want to share the freight costs, shout!

I've them too, and they are also good. However, I find when trying to buy an item both stock, Paddocks are generally that bit cheaper.

5 days? You're just rubbing it in aren't you?

I'm stuggling getting stuff to Sydney with 'overnight' delivery from Perth taking a week and, an 'in stock' bullbar (also from Perth) taking two and a helf weeks.

Took me over a week to get some stuff from QLD on "express 3 day", and I've been waiting two weeks to get some shooting stuff from the US which was posted airmail express....
