Just got back from the trip to sheepyard, needed to do heaps at home before going back to work on Tuesday so we came home early.

The hut looks great and we drank plenty of course but I did get to recover a D3 with my old D1.

He had gone down a track minus any sort of recovery gear and on road tyres and managed to get bogged in the creek at the bottom.

This track was that slippery and steep that I nearly didnt get back out but I am running BFG AT's but I was amazed that even on road tyres, as soon as he was out of the mud it just drove straight up.

Traction control is an orsome thing but Im still happy that I got to drag out a D3 with my $600 winch.

Im sure someone will do a trip report but I just had to post my brag.

Best thing was that it got me 2 slabs of VB so I donated one to the guys and brought 1 home for when I can drink beer again.
