Hi all,
You just never know who knows what on this forum
I have a microwave that has an issue. The paint inside the mircowave (under the glass plate) has flaked off.
Does anyone know if I can repaint it? Is there a particular paint product that would be suitable/safe to use?
Or... do I just throw it in the bin?
Cheers Nat

Thanks for that I was assuming it would be enamel.
Just hope they're rightSpecial microwave oven cavity paint is available but any common gloss enamel will work just as well (and costs about 1/10th as much). Use touch-up paint (with a small brush) or spray paint. The typical color is beige, almond, or some other form of off-white - just match it to your oven (if you care).![]()
WES components in sydney sell paint for microwaves, however touch ups are only for small amounts. If its a lot of paint missing a new cavity should be what u need, thats if its worth it.
