    NSW SEVERE WEATHER WARNING
Locally Damaging Winds, Flash Flooding, Abnormally High Tides/Damaging Surf
    For people in
    Hunter, Illawarra, Metropolitan
Issued at 3:25 pm on Friday 15 June 2007
Synoptic Situation: 12:00 noon EST Friday
A low pressure system is likely to develop just off the Hunter coast overnight, then move slowly away during Saturday.
Damaging winds over 65 km/h are expected to develop by the early hours of Saturday morning about coastal parts of the Illawarra, Sydney and southern Hunter. Peak wind gusts are expected to exceed 90 km/h. Damaging winds will extend to northern parts of the Hunter coast during Saturday as winds slowly ease further south.

My house flooded last week...turned into a river. I'm NOT HAPPY!~ Please no more. On the other hand, I drove home from Tamworth today...and it was absolutely pouring there when I left at 12 today. I hope they get it all!

Yep well its been pouring down here in soggy stockton for about an hour so id say we may be in for more flooding ....

Today while out in newcastle there were more tow trucks on the road carting soggy cars than i could count and theres still plenty of cars sitting on the sides of the road abbandoned .....

Stoped to get a part at a local auto elec supplyer seeing the houses oppsite with piles of soggy carpet and other household items piled in their front yards was an eary site and the auto elec shop had 2foot of water through it man they have lost some stock 15 pallets of gear got a unexpected wash ....

Worse part is theres still alot of water laying in low areas and this rain will only make things worse for those who have allready lost most of the household items to the first lot of water i just hope this lot of rain dosent fall like last weekend as i heard reports from people that some areas got upto 600mm of rain in like 48 hours can only pray it dont come down again like that here .....

G'day All, Absolutley pouring here in Cessnock, was quite heavy there about 15 mins ago, yeah we really need it here like a hole in the head, slowing down Land Rover restoration work, you can't use electrical power tools in the rain anyway heres hoping it departs soon to where it's needed cheers Dennis

Pouring here on and off too...at Martinsville. Mind you I'm not far from Cessnock so that figures.

Hey Dinty...have you guys managed to get all the fridges outa the trees down your way? I saw a few on my way through on Monday arvo. And you're not the only one waiting to repair a car. My 110 is in pieces...and there is NO WAY I'm crawling around on a wet garage floor today. Problem is...I cant get in and out my driveway without it!
